El Paso Woman Arrested for Porch Package Theft in West El Paso

EL PASO, Texas – Investigators with the El Paso Police Department arrested 55-year-old Raquel Arenibas on November 26, 2025, in connection with a package theft that occurred on September 19 in West El Paso in 500 block of Queretaro Dr.

Police reviewed surveillance footage from a Ring camera showing a woman, later identified as Arenibas, exiting a vehicle, walking up to the victim’s residence, and taking two packages from the front porch. Following confirmation of her identity, authorities obtained an arrest warrant.

Arenibas was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. She faces charges of Theft of Property under $100 with previous convictions. Bond was set at $5,000 by Judge Joseph.
