Suspect Identified and Arrested for Deadly Shooting in the Sunnyside Area of Houston

HOUSTON, Texas—Houston Police have arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of 47-year-old Antonio Moor, which occurred earlier this month at 4854 Clover Street in the Sunnyside area.

The suspect, Roderick Jamal Harris, 41, has been charged with murder in the 496th Criminal District Court.

HPD patrol officers responded to the shooting call around 8:55 p.m. on November 10 and found Mr. Moor suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. Witnesses inside the residence reported hearing multiple gunshots before finding the victim.

Further investigation identified Harris as the suspect. He was arrested on Thursday, November 20th, by the HPD Southeast Patrol Division’s Crime Suppression Team and was subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail.
