Two Young Drivers Arrested After Dangerous Three-Car Evading Incident in North Harris County

A traffic stop in north Harris County turned into a multi-vehicle pursuit on November 14, 2025, after a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office observed three cars weaving aggressively through traffic along the 12800 block of Veterans Memorial Drive.

When the deputy activated his emergency lights, all three vehicles refused to stop and continued for several miles, putting other drivers at risk. Eventually, two of the cars pulled over, and deputies detained both drivers without incident.

The drivers were identified as Isidro Soto and Kevin McBride. During the investigation, deputies discovered McBride was carrying a loaded firearm.

Both men were arrested and taken to the Harris County Jail.
• 18-year-old Kevin McBride was charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon. His bond was set at 5,000 dollars.
• 20-year-old Isidro Soto was charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at 10,000 dollars out of the 339th District Court.

The third vehicle involved in the incident has not been publicly identified. The case remains under investigation.
