Man Arrested After Road Rage Shooting on FM-529 Leaves One Injured

Harris County, TX – A 33-year-old man is in custody after a road rage incident ended in gunfire Saturday, November 8, leaving one person injured.
Deputies say three people were traveling eastbound on FM-529 when another driver, identified as Franklin Sael Alvarado, began driving aggressively. After one of the drivers honked, both vehicles came to a stop.
Alvarado reportedly got out of his vehicle, retrieved a shotgun, and fired at the other car as the driver tried to leave. A projectile struck a passenger in the back of the head. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies located and arrested Alvarado near the scene shortly after the shooting. He was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and two counts of Deadly Conduct and booked into the Harris County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
