One Dead, One Injured After Drive-By Shooting in North Harris County

Houston, TX – One man is dead and another injured after a late-night drive-by shooting in north Harris County on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded around 11:13 p.m. to an in-progress call in the 10000 block of Rosbrook Drive. When they arrived, they found a white sedan riddled with bullet holes. Inside were two Hispanic men who had both been shot.
An 18-year-old man was taken by EMS to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The second victim, a 22-year-old man, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was treated at the scene.
Investigators determined that the victims were driving in the 12000 block of Veterans Memorial Drive when another vehicle, described only as a sedan, pulled alongside them and opened fire. Deputies later located multiple shell casings along the roadway.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators processed both locations and are working to identify the shooter. The motive remains unclear.
