Deputies identify theft ring accused of stealing $38,000 from Houston-area Ulta stores

HOUSTON, TX – Constable Mark Herman’s Office says an organized theft ring is behind a string of Ulta Beauty store burglaries across the Houston area, stealing more than $38,000 worth of merchandise.
Deputies responded to an Ulta store in the 28700 block of Northwest Freeway on October 28 after receiving reports of a theft in progress. Investigators determined that two women entered the store and took over $1,000 in products.
Through community tips and social media leads, the two suspects were positively identified. Further investigation by Constable Herman’s Investigative Division uncovered four additional women believed to be connected to the same group, which has targeted at least 10 Ulta locations.
“These suspects are working in conjunction with others already identified and have victimized numerous businesses throughout the Houston area,” Constable Mark Herman said. “We remain committed to identifying and arresting all involved.”
Anyone with information on the four remaining suspects is urged to contact the Constable Mark Herman’s Office Dispatch at (281) 376-3472 and reference case numbers #2510-04308 and #2510-04194.
