Man Arrested After Threatening Harris County Deputy Who Previously Charged Him

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested 31-year-old Victor Rodriguez on October 4, 2025, after he allegedly threatened to harm a deputy constable who had previously filed charges against him.
According to investigators, Rodriguez contacted the Crisis Hotline and stated he was armed and intended to harm the deputy. Deputies immediately began an extensive search, and after a coordinated effort, they located Rodriguez in the 13100 block of FM 1960 Road West. He was taken into custody without incident.
Authorities confirmed that Rodriguez had two open felony warrants—one for Aggravated Family Assault and another for Probation Violation related to Family Assault Impeding Breath. He now faces an additional charge of Retaliation for the threats made against the deputy constable.
Rodriguez was booked into the Harris County Jail, where his total bond was set at $95,000 by the 262nd District Court.
