Deputies Arrest Man After Assault at Resource Parkway

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A man is in custody after deputies with Harris County Constable Precinct 2 responded Sunday to a disturbance in the 11900 block of Resource Parkway.

Deputies say the incident began as a verbal argument between two displaced individuals before escalating into violence. Vincent Rodriguez allegedly struck the complainant multiple times in the face, leaving visible injuries.

A witness reported the fight and attempted to intervene before deputies arrived. Rodriguez later admitted to striking the victim.

Further investigation revealed Rodriguez has a prior conviction for assault bodily injury from 2005. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted charges, and Rodriguez was arrested for Assault Bodily Injury.
