Houston Police Seek Public’s Help in Fatal West Bellfort Shooting

HOUSTON—Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man and woman on a motorcycle and a person driving a dark-colored Dodge Ram pickup truck in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Monday, September 15.
At around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of an apartment complex on 11675 West Bellfort Avenue. They found a 38-year-old man who had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and then seeing a male and female on a motorcycle leaving the area. A dark-colored Dodge Ram pickup was also seen leaving. The truck was later found nearby with multiple bullet holes in it.
