Houston Man Shot Multiple Times During Robbery by Known Associate

HOUSTON, Texas—A man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times during an aggravated robbery at the Casa Del Mar Apartments, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives from the Violent Crime Unit responded to the apartments, located at 2431 W FM 1960. Preliminary findings indicate that the victim and a suspect, who were known to each other, were together when the suspect produced a handgun. The suspect allegedly robbed the victim of $600 and then shot him multiple times in the head and face.

The victim sustained critical injuries and required emergency surgery. The suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at large.
