Investigation Ongoing in Fatal Shooting on Mount Pleasant Street

Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting that left one woman dead and a man wounded at 3804 Mount Pleasant Street about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 16.

The victim has been identified as Angela Perry, 51. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 67-year-old man was also shot and taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Police said officers found Perry in the living room and the man in a bedroom, both with multiple gunshot wounds.

There is currently no known motive or suspect description.
