Man Arrested After Double Stabbing at Harris County Apartment Complex

On Saturday night, August 16th, Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a stabbing call at a complex located at 17710 Red Oak Drive, near Cypress Station and FM-1960 Road West.
Deputies located two male victims, ages 43 and 26, who were transported to a hospital in critical condition. The 43-year-old remains in critical but stable condition, while the 26-year-old is in serious but stable condition. Both are expected to survive.
The suspect, identified as Trevon Thomas, 24, was arrested at the scene and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault.
Investigators said the suspect and victims had previously been roommates, and Thomas had also been in a dating relationship with one of the victims. The victims had recently sought to evict Thomas, who left several days earlier but returned Saturday night and allegedly stabbed both men.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, one of the victims was unconscious, suffering from multiple stab wounds and severe bleeding. Deputies applied tourniquets and seals to both victims, providing life-saving aid until EMS arrived.
The case remains under investigation.
