Houston Police Release Video of Suspect in Fatal North Drennan Street Stabbing

Houston police have released surveillance footage of a white male suspect wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 77-year-old man found at 123 North Drennan Street around 5:55 a.m. on Thursday, August 7.
According to HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective R. Lujan, patrol officers responded to a stabbing call at the location and discovered the victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to a hospital but was pronounced dead.
Investigators learned the victim was riding his bike to work on a nearby trail when the suspect emerged from behind a fence and stabbed him. Despite his injury, the victim managed to reach his workplace, where co-workers called 911.
Working with the Metro Police Department, detectives identified a suspect boarding a metro transit shortly after the stabbing.
