Street Race Kills Innocent Driver in Sugar Land; Two Arrested

An alleged street race on Highway 6 Saturday night ended in tragedy when one of the racing vehicles collided with an uninvolved car, killing its driver. Sugar Land Police have arrested two men in connection with the fatal crash.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m. when a Ford Mustang and a BMW were reportedly racing. The Mustang then crashed into a Toyota Camry, resulting in the death of the Camry’s driver.

The driver of the Mustang, Roman Pollock, 20, of Fresno, Texas, remained at the scene. He has been charged with Manslaughter.

However, the driver of the BMW fled the crash site. Investigators later located and identified him as Kamran Kamran, 26, of Houston, Texas. Kamran has been charged with Manslaughter and Failure to Stop and Render Aid.

The Sugar Land Police Department stated it remains committed to holding dangerous drivers accountable and ensuring the safety of local roads.
