Young Intoxicated Driver Caught with Loaded AR-15 on Tomball Tollway
A 20-year-old man was arrested on June 16, 2025, after deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office found him driving on damaged rims and a flat tire along the Tomball Tollway.
Deputies responded to the 26800 block of the tollway for a reported traffic hazard and located the vehicle in question. The driver, identified as Emmanuel Vazquez, exhibited multiple signs of intoxication. He was administered a series of Field Sobriety Tests and was determined to be impaired.
During the investigation, deputies discovered that Vazquez was in possession of a loaded AR-15 rifle.
Vazquez was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail. He has been charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon. His total bond was set at $200 by County Court 07.
