Deputies Investigating Double Homicide After Two Bodies Found in East Houston Home

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Harris County Sheriff’s Office patrol units responded to a welfare check at a residence in the 114600 block of Brownwood. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a man and a woman deceased inside the home, both with obvious signs of trauma.

No other individuals were located inside the residence. The person who requested the welfare check had just arrived on scene prior to deputies.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit confirmed the case is being investigated as a double homicide and not a murder-suicide. The identities of the victims are pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
