Man Charged with Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault on Cypress Creek Trail

A man identified as 23-year-old Rodney Stubblefield has been arrested and charged with Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault following a disturbance reported on the Cypress Creek Hike and Bike Trail near the 22600 block of Bridgewater Drive on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the scene and detained Stubblefield. Further investigation revealed that he was allegedly attempting to force the victim to have sexual intercourse with him while she was resisting.

Rodney Stubblefield has been booked into the Harris County Jail and is awaiting bond out of the 208th District Court.
