Man Shot Multiple Times Found Dead in Central Southwest Houston

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man discovered at 2900 Airport Boulevard in the Central Southwest Houston area at approximately 2:05 a.m. on Sunday, May 11th.

The victim, believed to be in his 30s, has not yet been formally identified, pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp, patrol officers found the man lying on a sidewalk at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Buffum Street. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Further investigation led officers to believe the man was possibly shot several yards away at a residence in the 10600 block of Buffum Street.

At this time, no suspects or a motive for the shooting have been identified.
