Katy Man Arrested in Houston Fatal Shooting

A suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of 34-year-old Ediesky Incencio Pineiro on Sunday (April 27) has been apprehended.

Andres Fernandez De La Paz, 36, is now in custody and charged with murder in the 482nd State District Court.

Houston Police Department Homicide Division Detectives D. Davis and M. Althaus reported that officers responded to a shooting call at 11203 Whittingham Lane and found Pineiro with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Further investigation identified Fernandez De La Paz as the suspect. After consultation with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, a murder charge was filed.

Members of the HPD Westside Patrol Division’s Gang Unit located and arrested Fernandez De La Paz at his residence in Katy on Monday (April 28).
