Convicted Felon Arrested for Shoplifting and Resisting Deputies at Northwest Freeway Walmart

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested Pierce Thompson, a convicted felon, on Thursday, April 24, 2025, after he allegedly shoplifted from the Walmart located in the 26200 block of the Northwest Freeway.

Upon arrival, deputies were informed by loss prevention that a male suspect had removed theft sensors and concealed $738.00 worth of merchandise before passing all points of sale without paying for the items.

Constable Deputies located the male suspect, identified as 34-year-old Pierce Thompson. According to the report, Thompson became belligerent and ignored verbal commands. When deputies attempted to detain him, he physically resisted. Following a brief struggle, Thompson was safely taken into custody.

Constable Mark Herman stated, “Pierce Thompson was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail, charged with Theft and Resisting Arrest. His bond was set at $1,500.00 out of County Court 9.”
