Man Found Shot Dead on Hamill Road Near East Aldine, Investigation Underway

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of an adult male found on the 6000 block of Hamill Road near East Aldine. Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot in the grass on the south side of the road at approximately 11:30 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

EMS transported the victim to a hospital, but he succumbed to his wounds during surgery. Detectives who arrived on the scene were unable to identify a suspect, and no witnesses reported seeing the shooting. The only individuals present arrived after the complainant had been shot.

The crime scene was processed, and witnesses were interviewed. The investigation into this murder is ongoing, and an autopsy is scheduled to be performed within the next 24 hours to determine the official cause and manner of death.
